Build a Bat House
11am to 12:30pm
Did you know that the United Nations has declared this year as the International Year of the Bat? A bat house is a great way to provide cover for wildlife, as well as to help control the insect population and pollinate flowers. Join a ranger to find out more about bats and their habitats. Meet at the picnic area. Must sign up for this event!
Saturday Night Sunset Opportunity
8pm to 8:45pm
Stay late tonight and view the sunset from the Lake Waccamaw State Park Pier. A ranger will be available to answer questions and talk about how unique the bay really is.
