Transit of Venus Viewings

Tomorrow (Tuesday, June 5) an exciting astronomical event is happening!

Witness one of the rarest of predictable astronomical phenomena: the transit of the planet Venus across the surface of the Sun!

Ten Solar transits of Venus have been known to occur since the year 1396, with only SIX transits observed since the telescope was invented in the year 1608.
