Snakes are amazing creatures once you get to know and understand them. Learn about some of the common snakes that are found in the park, meet a friendly live snake, and find out why we should look and respect but not touch these helpful reptiles. Registration is required.
Nature Friends - Charming Snakes: 4:30pm to 5:30 pm
Ages 6-9
Fee: $4/child
Beautifully ornamented, snakes are silent and move slowly, until roused when they can really hustle! The fear of snakes is a serious phobia for many people. Learn about the snakes that are found locally, meet a live snake, and find out why we should look and respect, but not touch, these helpful reptiles. Registration is required.
